Our products marketed in the U.S. include:

GIAPREZA (angiotensin II) is a vasoconstrictor to increase blood pressure in adults with septic or other distributive shock. XACDURO (sulbactam for injection; durlobactam for injection) is a new treatment designed specifically to treat hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia (HABP) and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (VABP) caused by susceptible strains of bacteria called Acinetobacter baumannii-calcoaceticus complex in adults. XERAVA (eravacycline) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat patients with complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAI). ZEVTERA (ceftobiprole) is a newly approved advanced-generation cephalosporin antibiotic and the only FDA-approved cephalosporin specifically designed to treat adult patients with Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections (bacteremia) including those with right-sided infective endocarditis. In addition, Zevtera is approved in adult patients with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI), and adult and pediatric patients (3 months to less than 18 years old) with community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP).

Summary of Position

:

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for leading and driving all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics. In this role, you will be shaping and executing a best-in-class financial strategy that supports the company's ambitious growth trajectory and long-term value creation. This role is instrumental in building scalable financial systems and processes, supporting operational excellence, and advancing the company’s mission through impactful financial leadership. The VP will lead and inspire a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the CFO/Interim President, the VP serves as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving forward-looking financial insights, enabling data-driven decisions, and ensuring strong fiscal stewardship across the organization. The role plays a critical function in translating business objectives into clear financial plans, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

:

Lead the FP&A function, establishing the vision, frameworks, and processes for accurate forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning aligned with corporate goals. Serve as the senior leader of FP&A, transforming the function into a proactive, strategic partner to the business. Provide financial insight and decision support to the executive team, directly influencing growth strategies and resource allocation. Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and trade-offs. Drive long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to support innovation and growth. Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to enable operational excellence. Analyze business performance to identify trends, optimize profitability, and improve efficiency. Continuously enhance FP&A tools, data integrity, and processes to enable real-time, fact-based decision-making. Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, modeling values-based leadership and fostering a unified sense of purpose. Ensure all FP&A activities adhere to corporate policies, GAAP, and applicable regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with accounting and other finance leaders to align corporate financial strategy and reporting. Attract, develop, and inspire a high-performing FP&A team within a culture of growth, accountability, and innovation.

Experience & Education:

MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field ( CPA or CFA preferred) 15 plus years of progressive finance experience, including at least 10 years in senior FP&A leadership roles Proven success in public company environments, with experience navigating investor expectations and regulatory requirements Experience with commercial pharmaceutical or biotech settings Track record of building and leading high-performing teams and driving cultural excellence Deep experience partnering with C-suite executives to influence business strategy and optimize financial performance Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and performance measurement
