ABOUT COSMETIC LASER DERMATOLOGY: Cosmetic Laser Dermatology is the premier cosmetic dermatologic surgery practice in the United States, renowned for its expertise, innovation, and excellence in patient care. Our distinguished team includes nine world-class physicians—three of whom are ranked among the top 10 cosmetic dermatologists in the country—a medical aesthetician, a physician assistant, and a dedicated staff of over 60 employees. Position Summary: We are seeking an experiencedPractice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a high-volume dermatology clinic. This role is key in driving culture, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to clinic staff, fostering a high-performing, service-oriented culture. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, patient flow, and inventory management. Develop and implement clinic goals, policies, procedures, and performance metrics. Monitor and control expenses, review monthly P&Ls, and support budgeting and profitability strategies. Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to drive patient volume and brand presence. Ensure compliance with all policies and protocols related to patient care, documentation, and consent. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff development in partnership with HR. Maintain open communication across departments through meetings, huddles, and reports. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience managing a medical practice with 30+ employees and $15M+ revenue. Experience in dermatology and cosmetic services is required. Proven leadership in managing operations, staff development, and customer service excellence. Proficient in EMR systems (Nextech preferred) and tech-savvy. Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Must pass pre-employment background and credit check; valid driver’s license required. Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of medical office management is required. Dermatology and cosmetic experience is required. Knowledge of the clinic and company policies and procedures Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices Knowledge of NextGen or EMA computer programs and applications Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines Skill in effective personnel management, including training staff and delegating duties Skill in written and verbal communication Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other staff Ability to respond timely to changing demands Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and direct the work of others Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public Prior experience interviewing candidates and determining staffing needs Assist with credentialing physicians and mid-level providers Experience managing patient issues. Education: High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business is preferred or equivalent experience in a related field. Qualifications/Experience: Direct the leadership, management, and culture-building experience for over 50 medical staff, including physicians, advanced practice providers, front office staff, MAs, accounting staff, and others. Five plus years of medical office management of a practice grossing > $15 million with more than 30 employees is required. Experience working in a dermatology practice is required. Prior cosmetic experience is required. Expert understanding of how to deliver, execute, hire, and train employees to deliver exceptional customer service. Supervisory experience in employee development, performance reviews, timecard management, and overtime management. Direct experience in conflict management, difficult conversations, talent management, and employee coaching. Experience in effective personnel management, including identifying staffing needs, identifying strong employee candidates, training staff, and delegating duties. Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills. Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills. Consistent record of achieving and maintaining the practice’s financial goals. Knowledge of EMR systems, Nextech preferred. Experience using technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Must be tech-savvy, and comfortable navigating and utilizing various digital platforms and software with ease. Experience managing patient issues. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history is required. Cleared pre-employment criminal history and credit check required.
