As a new and emerging tequila brand, we’re building something real- and we’re looking for someone who can shape our story from the ground up. We’re looking for a full-time Social Media & Content Manager to join our team and be the voice, vision, and strategy behind our digital presence and portfolio of products. This role is in-office with the exception of on-location shoots and event coverage. As Social Media & Content Manager for premium emerging brands, like Bandero Tequila and others in the portfolio, it’ll be very hands-on and combine creativity, strategy, and hustle. Content calendar creation:

Planning what content goes out when, tied to product drops, events, holidays, or brand moments. Brand development:

Ensuring that every piece of content aligns with the brand’s tone, visuals, and values. Platform-specific strategy:

Knowing how to tailor messaging for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and any new or niche platforms. Analytics tracking:

Monitoring performance (engagement, reach, conversions) to adjust what’s working and what’s not. Brand Partnerships:

Coming up with and presenting proposals with trending micro-influencers to shoot brand-aligned partnerships. Budget management:

Handling a paid ads budget or influencer partnerships. Job Title:

Strategy & Planning

Content calendar creation:

Planning what content goes out when, tied to product drops, events, holidays, or brand moments. Brand development:

Ensuring that every piece of content aligns with the brand’s tone, visuals, and values. Platform-specific strategy:

Knowing how to tailor messaging for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and any new or niche platforms. Analytics tracking:

Shooting and editing:

You’ll be creating everything from short-form videos to product photography, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments. Storyboarding:

Planning visual and thematic narratives for campaigns or key brand moments. Graphic design:

Quick turnaround for graphics using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop. Copywriting:

Writing punchy captions, hashtags, and post text that match the brand’s voice. Social Media Management

Posting:

Scheduling and publishing content at optimal times. Community Engagement:

Responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and engaging with followers to grow community organically. Trendspotting:

Jumping on trending audios, memes, or moments when relevant for the brand. On-the-Ground Work

Event coverage:

Attending branded events, activations, and pop-ups to capture real-time content. Weekend/night flexibility:

Since events don’t happen 9:00am to 5:00pm, you’ll be asked occasionally to trade out weekday time to cover live events or shoot after-hours content. Influencer or collab shoots:

Coordinating with talent to shoot brand-aligned partnerships. Collaboration

Internal team:

Working closely with founders, brand directors, marketing, and sales teams to align goals & attend weekly upper management meetings to present plans and give overviews of week over week growth. External partners:

Coordinating with influencers, and vendors as needed.

Reporting & Growth

Weekly/Monthly reports:

Showcasing social growth, top-performing content, and what needs improvement. Trying different posting strategies, content formats, or hashtags to find what works. What Makes This Role Unique at a New Premium Brand:

Overview:

Own and lead all aspects of our social media strategy, from concept to execution Create, produce, and edit compelling content (video, photo, copy) tailored to each platform Schedule, post, and manage daily content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms Engage with our community authentically and consistently to build awareness and brand loyalty Work events (nights/weekends as needed) to shoot and generate real-time content - time to be flexed out during the week Maintain and evolve a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels Track analytics, adapt strategies, and report on content performance and growth metrics Collaborate with internal team and external partners to plan and execute larger campaign pushes Stay on top of social trends, competitors, and best practices within the spirits and lifestyle space

Who You Are:

A social-first creative who understands the power of storytelling and how to craft a compelling brand online Experience growing new brands in competitive or saturated markets — with receipts to prove it Comfortable behind and in front of the camera when needed Able to shoot, edit, and publish content quickly and at a high level Passionate about brand-building and aesthetics — with an eye for luxury, edge, and culture Proactive, self-directed, and highly organized Flexible schedule for events, shoots, and on-the-go content capture Must be LA-based and able to work full-time in our West LA/Santa Monica office

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or brand marketing Portfolio showcasing content work and proven results in brand growth Deep understanding of social platform algorithms, engagement tactics, and analytics tools Strong photography/videography and editing skills (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.) Bonus if you’ve worked in the spirits, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle industries TO APPLY:
