Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced full stack Java developer to join our team and work on initiatives related to our Life New Business and Underwriting systems. This homegrown, service-oriented system supports several key initiatives, including Underwriting Modernization. The role involves collaborating with existing teams to design, code, unit test, and implement new features, endpoints, and services, or enhance existing ones. Our technology stack includes Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server, REST APIs, all hosted on AWS. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with teams to design, code, test, and implement new features. Presenting progress and completed work during sprint reviews. Participating in design decisions and system component planning. Qualifications:
3+ years experience in Java development. 3+ years experience with SQL and stored procedures. 3+ years experience with Spring framework. 3+ years experience designing and creating REST web services.
