OPTiMO seeks an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in support of a client who requires: Experience testing web and multimedia solutions Test Plan and Test Case Development Integrated QA and QC services Independent Validation and Verification Services Load and Performance testing services Accessibility Testing Create and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) In this role, the Test Engineer is responsible for working with developers, designers, project managers, and government clients to ensure the functionality, reliability, accessibility, and security of multiple web applications and their supporting infrastructure. The Test Engineer's responsibilities include: Developing quality control procedures that address remediation for deficiencies to ensure all deliverables are: Fully compliant with all specified requirements Meeting acceptable SDLC and quality standards (performance, reliability, availability, etc.) Exceeding Section 508 standards, WAI-ARIA 1.1 compliance, and all client testing policies and directives Delivered by required due dates Developing thorough test plans for systems to ensure a smooth transition from development to production, including test case creation and execution to validate end-to-end functionality. Providing integrated QA and QC services, load and performance testing, independent validation and verification, and accessibility testing. Meeting deadlines consistently in a dynamic environment with daily communication with developers and business users. Utilizing web and multimedia solution platforms and tools such as HTML/JavaScript, SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Dreamweaver. Requirements:

Full-time, on-site at a secure facility in the Washington DC Metro area. Active TS SCI security clearance. Four or more years of related industry experience. Experience working for the federal government. At least one year of experience handling US classified documents. Experience managing web design and development projects. Understanding and implementation experience of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.2 AA, WAI-ARIA). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Four years of experience working with small teams, troubleshooting issues, developing and executing test plans, documenting results, and supporting all testing lifecycle phases. Knowledge of test methodologies (regression, functional, integration, performance, accessibility). Complete understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Experience conducting various testing types including functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and integration. Accessibility testing certification (e.g., 508 Trusted Tester, W3C, IAAP, WAS). Experience with automated testing tools and supporting user acceptance testing. Desired Skills: Strong customer interface skills Meticulous attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office platform
