We're hiring a Project Manager, Maintenance Work Management Process (MWMP) to support execution of MWMP strategies and drive improvement of the overall maintenance work process. You will report to the Reliability and Maintenance Excellence Process Leader. This role involves visiting our manufacturing sites, with expected travel to be 60-80% of the time. You will be responsible for employing processes and tools to improve planning, scheduling, and work prioritization; assesses work management practices and procedures; and implements the playbook standards based on best practices. You will use data analysis tools to assess site performance and identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate would be based at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD. Alternative work locations will be considered; however, you must be located near one of our US locations. Responsibilities
Serve as primary project manager and coach for roll-out of MWMP. Support and participate in the development of short and long-term strategic planning to strengthen and drive improvements in Maintenance Excellence metrics and performance. Use ME processes and tools to drive continuous improvements in the areas of safety and environmental compliance. Benchmark Grace maintenance costs across all similar business groups to identify areas for improvement utilizing maintenance data and OEE as drivers to standardize. Evaluate the maintenance organization structures and craft skills. Drive cultural change around maintenance work management processes. Implement upgraded processes, define roles and responsibilities, and gain buy-in from all levels of leadership. Assess and improve work prioritization, planning, scheduling, and associated management processes. Leader of change with the ability to influence and gain support from operator/craft level to executive leadership. Ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders and align their objectives to meet project milestones. Develop, communicate, and train on best practices to support maintenance processes. Understand work management principles to be able to support sites in the implementation of the standards. Be able to support the sites in data analytics that can be used for bad actor identification, cost competitiveness, PM optimization, and other exercises. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment. 10+ years of experience implementing and designing work processes. Proven track record of managing complex projects. Demonstrated experience in change management. Excellent communication and influence skills. Critical and innovative thinking. Able to interpret and improve processes and standards. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project). PSM experience. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional. Benefits
