Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading $facility_type$ in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cath lab procedures including coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker insertions • Handle daily caseload of 8-12 procedures focusing on Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias • Maintain current ARRT certification, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications • Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain accurate hemodynamic monitoring • Set up and maintain cath lab equipment and inventory • Perform angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, and carotid angiography procedures • Assist with central venous access/port placement, chest tube placement, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations • Maintain sterile field and scrub for interventional procedures • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations • Accept call duties up to 4 days per week as needed • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Complete 30 hours of facility orientation • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid California state licensure and fluoro permit • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
Active, unencumbered license in CA
Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
State-required professional license
Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
