The Clinical Nurse Manager in Primary Care plays a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of an ambulatory clinic, ensuring efficient clinic operations and high-quality healthcare delivery. This position involves directing a diverse team focusing on elderly and frail populations to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. Salary:
$145,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures efficient clinic operations, implementing best practices for healthcare delivery. Hires, retains, and develops nursing and clinical staff including RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, and Medical Assistants; oversees team's performance and engagement. Analyzes clinical data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement; devises strategies based on these insights. Ensures implementation and adherence to health care plans and assessments, guaranteeing all treatments and interventions are properly documented and communicated. Collaborates closely with the Clinical Services Director and Quality Improvement Director to ensure compliance during audits and to develop corrective action plans. Coaches and supports clinical teams to enhance quality, safety, and participant satisfaction. Minimum Position Qualifications: Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) state license required. Minimum of two years in a leadership role overseeing ambulatory clinic operations. Proven experience working directly with elderly or frail populations in clinical settings. Strong leadership and people management skills, capable of nurturing and empowering the team. Demonstrated ability in operating under regulatory compliance and healthcare standards. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related healthcare field. Previous experience in outpatient care settings with high patient volumes. Advanced certification in healthcare management or similar fields. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead and manage teams effectively under potentially stressful conditions. High proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
