Licensed Clinical Supervisor Contract

Reallifecounseling, Washington, District of Columbia, us, 20022

Save Job

RLC provides mental health outpatient therapy in a private practice setting, utilizing in-office and tele-health services. We work with a combination of Medicaid Funded Insurances, Private Insurances, and Private Pay. Real Life Counseling provides executive and administrative services to our team of Independent Clinicians. Instead of getting caught up in the distractions of running a business, such as insurance billing or administrative procedures, our counselors focus on what they do best: counseling. This allows our Clinical team to direct their energy to where it matters most: our clients. The goal of the Clinical Supervisor positions is to support new 1099 Independent Contractor Counselors, both Associate Licensed and Licensed, in being successful growing into their practice and business competencies, while navigating through the credentialing process. Counselors are generally trained in clinical competencies but not as business owners and RLC recognizes the need for identified support to help ensure their successful completion of personal and professional goals. RLC values its business partnership with its host of 1099 Counselors, recognizing the mutual benefits this role provides. As a 1099 Independent Contractor Clinician, counselors experience freedom and opportunity they would otherwise not have in traditional medical agencies and RLC’s purpose for Clinical Supervisors is to journey alongside them as “seasoned” 1099’s who offer the clinical, documentation, and business acumen, alongside supervision and consultation needed to hone their career path. Goals of the Licensed Clinical Supervisor Contract & Program

Provide experienced clinical & business insights, support, and consultation to new 1099 Independent Contractor Counselors. Provide Clinical Supervision needed by Associate Licensed Clinicians working towards licensure. Act as a consultant around clinical, documentation & business growth that 1099’s seek out, providing coaching on clinical documentation that meets insurance standards and requirements. Offer Incident to Billing support to Counselors who utilize RLC’s Incident to Billing Counseling Services Agency Agreement. Help Incident to Billing Counselors grow confident and competent as 1099 Counselors. Foster a collaborative working relationship with the Incident to Billing counselor. Provide coaching, steadiness, experience, and support to newly graduated or recently graduated Associate Licensed Clinicians. Assist Associate Licensed Counselors in growing their skills and knowledge of the counseling profession, including clinical skills/modality practices & paperwork/documentation. Use knowledge and skills in a venue of teaching & investing to broaden a supervisor's income opportunity and teach an upcoming counselor how to “do the job of a counselor.” 1099 Licensed Clinical Supervisor Required Qualifications
