SUD Clinical Supervisor Reports To:
Director of Operations Main Function:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all clinical services within the SUD program. The incumbent provides vision and leadership to ensure quality service provision and coordination of services to adult patients being served within the Substance Use Program (SUD). Qualifications:
Licensed Psychiatric Nurse, practicing Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor
Licensed and/or CAC with 1 year of experience in Substance Abuse The SUD Clinical Director must meet one of the following licensed discipline categories: Physician or Psychiatrist Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Psychologist (Doctorate Level) Licensed Psychological Associate Licensed Professional Counselor Licensed Masters Social Worker Mastered Degree Nurse- advanced practice only (NP, PNPs, etc.) Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Certified Clinical Supervisor Position Responsibilities: Supervision of all substance abuse counselors in the provider agency Design of the treatment protocols employed within the agency. Ensuring appropriate assessments for all consumers served Implementation of best practice and emerging practice protocols Review of service quality Design of all staff training Provide and make recommendations for improvement in providing clinical services. Assure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and policy, including Federal and State and Agency. Assure clinical policies and procedures provide the best means for direct care staff to fulfill their responsibilities and achieve projected goals. Directs and participates in policy and program implementation and assures all deadlines are met. Directs and participates in all audits, including Federal, State, and Agency Conducts personnel performance reviews under personnel policy and procedures for those under direct supervision or in conjunction with the direct supervisor. Provides training, motivation, and goal setting to counselors. Directs the implementation of approved procedures to achieve maximum productivity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Participates in meetings, as necessary. Makes on-site supervisory visits and completes required documentation. Audits consumer records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Provide on-call support to both field and administrative staff. Supervises and coordinates all therapeutic services delivered by the agency. Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
