Description This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award. Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a

Command and Control (C2) Composite Warfare Commander (CWC / B) . The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of surface warfare training, coupled with strategic leadership experience in fleet operations, warfighting doctrine, and staff-level training. They excel in training program execution, scenario development, and advanced modeling & simulation tools. ATGPAC is tasked with training and certifying all Pacific Fleet ships to ensure they meet evolving standards for naval and joint combat operations. This requires a dynamic, flexible approach to training, with ATGPAC delivering both in-person and distributed training across a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special focus is placed on training shipboard teams to independently maintain and enhance combat readiness throughout deployment cycles. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Conduct

computer-based simulations

and

Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) events

in the ATGSD Battle Lab to enhance Pacific Fleet readiness Integrate

live and synthetic training

for ships and teams, including

Final Battle Problems (FBP), Inport Training Exercises (MITE), and certification events Utilize

Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS)

to create realistic operational scenarios Collaborate with

Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP)

to execute

Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program

events Support the

Distributed Training Architecture (DTA)

under the guidance of

Commander, Pacific Fleet (CPF) Requirements Experience: 20+ years

as a

Naval Officer , specializing in

surface ship combat systems training, maintenance, and operations 10+ years

conducting

staff-level training

at the

Strike Group, Fleet, or Major Training Command

level 10+ years

of experience in

scenario development, training execution, and system configuration

using one or more of the following:

Modeling and Simulation tools (JSAF, MARCI, BFTT) Tactical Data Information Links (Link 11(A)/16(J), Satellite-J, GCCS-M) Tactical Voice/Data Communications systems

5+ years

managing a

DoD training contract , overseeing operations, budgets, and training effectiveness In-depth knowledge of:

SFTRM and Fleet Synthetic Training architecture Composite Warfare Commander construct Command and Control (C2)

functions for

surveillance, engagement, and planning

within numbered fleets Staff and Fleet operational planning procedures

Education: Bachelor of Science (BS)

required ; Master’s degree preferred Security Clearance: Must possess an active

Secret
