Nealy Pierce has been engaged by a growing, non-profit Joint Commission accredited rural community hospital near Morgantown, WV to recruit a collaborative and inspirational Chief Nursing Officer to join its executive leadership team.
About the Role: As the Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving nursing practice, leading your team, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care is consistently provided. The CNO will also foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement among the nursing team.
Responsibilities: Provide the strategic direction and leadership to the nursing team Implement policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards Foster a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care Collaborate across all levels to achieve hospital-wide goals and initiatives Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff to enhance their skills and professional growth Manage the budgetary and operational aspects of the nursing team
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required / Master’s strongly preferred Minimum five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience as a Director of Nursing, ACNO or CNO Minimum ten (10) years of total nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting Must have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire and motivate a team of nursing professionals
