Travel Nursing Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2360 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Alamogordo, NM 88310 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/1/2025 - End: 11/29/2025) Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule On Call Requirement: Voluntary Dress Code: Eggplant/Grape scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or related clinical nursing specialty Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Intermediate FHM, Advanced FHM Instructor, Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring C-EFM) Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols; monitor patient responses Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health needs and care plans Support the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Delegate tasks and assignments to other healthcare providers appropriately Participate in competency validation and ongoing professional development for nursing jobs Apply now to join our healthcare team in Alamogordo, New Mexico and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
