Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive full-cycle sales efforts, focusing on hunting, nurturing, and closing new deals. In this role, you will proactively identify prospects, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored IoT solutions. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a passion for cultivating new business opportunities, a deep understanding of the IoT landscape, and a proven track record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the IoT industry.
- Conduct market research to uncover potential customers and key decision-makers.
- Engage in trade show prospecting to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Generating leads through engaging with vendor sales teams.
- Sales Cycle Management:
- Engage in a consultative sales process, nurturing leads from initial contact through deal closure.
- Deliver tailored proposals to meet client-specific needs and business goals.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, ensuring alignment with their connectivity requirements.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Partner with Sales Directors and internal teams to align on strategy and drive results.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates on sales activities, pipeline progression, and market insights for leadership.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Manage contract discussions and negotiations, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term value.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales development, business development, or account management.
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Experience with trade show prospecting, including lead generation and follow-up.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong prospecting skills with a track record of converting leads into customers.
- Ability to establish rapport quickly and build trust with clients.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- A charismatic presence and ability to make a lasting first impression.
Salary Description
$80,000 base + $70,000 in commission
