DCHUX Surgery Center the only privately held ambulatory surgery center in the nations capital is seeking an experienced, board-certified (or board-eligible) anesthesiologist to join our surgical team as a long-term partner. This is an opportunity for a physician who values consistency, understands the rhythm of a high-functioning surgical team, and is committed to building lasting relationships with both colleagues and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, effective, and personalized anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures.

Work closely with the same surgical and perioperative team to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency in the OR.

Develop deep familiarity with each surgeons techniques, preferences, and case flow to anticipate needs and optimize outcomes.

Build trust and rapport with patients preoperatively, guiding them through anesthesia options, risks, and recovery expectations.

Participate in post-operative follow-up and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, documentation standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.

Current, unrestricted medical license in the District of Columbia (or ability to obtain before start date).

Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork.

Dedication to patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical outcomes.
