Travel **Job Title: CT Technologist**
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team, responsible for performing CT procedures to acquire digital images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases. The ideal candidate will plan and execute CT procedures while leveraging advanced technology and adhering to established clinical protocols.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. - Maintain proficiency in various CT systems across multiple locations. - Develop and implement protocols that align with ImageGently guidelines and accurately manage radiation dose data. - Possess comprehensive knowledge of clinical histories to select appropriate imaging protocols. - Conduct CT interventional procedures and perform advanced CTA imaging, including carotid, head, vertebral studies, and relevant cardiac imaging techniques. - Ensure accurate patient preparation, positioning, and use of protective shielding during procedures. - Stay updated on pharmacology for lab result management prior to examinations. - Utilize knowledge of physiology and physics to produce quality scans while minimizing patient exposure. - Work independently in a clinical environment while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required). - Relevant experience in a clinical imaging role. - Certification(s) and License(s) pertinent to radiologic technology.
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication and diagnostic imaging abilities. - Proficient in medical equipment management and radiation safety practices. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
