Production Planner I Location: Irvine, CA Onsite M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm5-Month Assignment (potential to extend / convert) Pay: $33-$36We're seeking a fast-paced, detail-oriented Production Planner to join our client's team in Irvine, CA. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in day-to-day production planning (not just project planning) and has experience with Bio-Rad products, or in environments involving biologicals, chemistry, or liquids.You'll coordinate and optimize packaging production schedules, analyze demand, manage inventory, and work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Using SAP MRP/scheduling tools, you'll monitor KPIs related to production, inventory, capacity, yields, scrap, and product life cycles.How You'll Make an Impact: Maintain and establish production schedules (ERP system or manual Kanban) with input from production, purchasing, quality control, marketing, and supply planning teams. Ensure optimal production flow through finite scheduling, data analysis, and quick issue resolution. Generate and analyze data, run reports, and provide scheduling recommendations. Resolve production schedule messages and issues raised by production personnel. Handle routine to moderately complex scheduling tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Develop reports and tools to improve workflow and efficiency.What You Bring: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management, or related field. APICS CPIM certification is a plus. 2+ years of experience with ERP systems or in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Preferred: Experience in Bio-Rad products, biologicals, chemistry, or liquids. Strong ability to thrive in fast-moving, day-to-day production operations.
