The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Las Vegas, NM
to hire an
Echo Technician (Echocardiography Technician / Cardiac Sonographer)
to join their Ultrasound Department. This role uses advanced ultrasound technology to produce images of the heart and circulatory system, supporting the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have both strong technical expertise and a patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:
Assist with interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures, following aseptic techniques Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition Apply anatomy and physiology knowledge to support diagnostic evaluations Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members in the cath lab setting Respond to emergency situations, especially in Level I or II trauma center environments Maintain proficiency in medical terminology related to cardiology and sonography Qualifications:
Experience in interventional radiology or cardiology preferred Familiarity with telemetry systems and monitoring techniques required Trauma center experience (Level I or II) highly desirable Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes Ability to perform effectively under pressure while ensuring patient safety
