Payroll Specialist
Robert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Encinitas to hire a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist. This company is known for its high-quality products and strong operational infrastructure, and they're looking for someone who can ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for a diverse workforce. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, understands payroll compliance, and enjoys working with both HR and finance teams. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and benefit contributions Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s and tax filings Support audits and internal reviews related to payroll Requirements: 2-4 years of payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paylocity) Strong understanding of California labor laws and wage regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
