The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal production operations. This role supports preventive maintenance programs, responds to equipment breakdowns, and assists with installation or modification of equipment in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Safety

Work safely and be actively engaged in site safety programs.

Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly. Understanding and knowledge of safety regulations.

Equipment Maintenance

Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning and longevity of machinery. Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using testing equipment and diagnostic tool.s Investigate equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with other team members to identify and address recurring issues. Repair and Installation

Execute repairs on several types of machinery, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Install new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Identify and work with outside vendors as appropriate. Documentation

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and recommend improvements. Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred. 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience with welding, fabrication, and machine shop tools is a plus. Skills & Abilities:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills for work order management. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work in varying temperatures and industrial environments (noise, dust, fumes).

Shift is Monday - Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm
