Influencer Marketing Manager

that enables the Skybound Games Marketing Team to work quickly and efficiently across the broad range of talent and influencer verticals, namely

Gaming Creators & Streamers ,

Social Creators and Celebrities.

This individual will primarily be responsible for creating, sourcing and executing innovative collaborations with the movers and shakers of the digital landscape and pop culture on behalf of our Games portfolio. This role collaborates with a team of highly entrepreneurial and creative individuals who also know what it takes to execute the seemingly impossible, and has a track record of making magic happen. This position maintains a high-level oversight of all influencer-led, or influencer-supported marketing initiatives for and creates the day-to-day infrastructure to support priority initiatives and campaigns. This role will be a key component to driving the Skybound Games Marketing team’s priorities through seamless high-level program management, day-to-day operations, and internal team alignment with an eye towards scale and efficiency. In this role, you will serve as a strategic super connector between Brand Marketing, Community, Social / Digital, Public Relations and Product Marketing as well as work to define the cross-functional relationships with external and internal partners as it pertains to influencer marketing including, but not limited to: Development & Production, Finance, Legal, Creative Services, Partnerships, aligning stakeholders and shepherding teams through the process of bringing our programs to life. You will oversee planning, roadmaps, resourcing, budgets, and documentation for the influencer marketing vertical, as well as be a champion of our team’s culture. You bring creativity and functionality to the operational aspects of a fast-moving team and deal with solving the “how,” freeing up your peers to focus on crafting the “what.” You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover new ways of doing things, and work collaboratively with stakeholders. You have demonstrated strong performance in your prior roles, and you thrive in ambiguity, creative environments and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Reports:

This position will report to Skybound’s Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, Games Responsibilities Include: Identifying, building and managing relationships with key influencers with affinity for various Game Portfolio Titles across key priority verticals Defining and creating the influencer strategy for major product announcements and milestones (i.e. Public Beta) and executing them, either in house or via partner agencies at scale Identifying moments in pop culture and the gaming industry ripe for disruption through non-traditional influencer-led collaborations primed to create earned media Manage and evaluate influencer plans from external marketing agencies and strategic partners. Construct flexible and creative endorsement deals through deep relationship and industry insights Applying rigor and consistency to measuring and evaluating impact and effectiveness/ROI Testing, learning, applying, relearning. Role Requirements A passion for collaborating with the most extraordinary individuals who shape the landscape of pop culture and the zeitgeist of the internet 4-7 years of experience in influencer marketing and partnerships, influencer communications, influencer relations, production, gaming, entertainment or other relevant experience Self-starter with entrepreneurial qualities; advances projects through collaborative partnership with both external and internal stakeholders and manages applicable project workstreams, vendors and partners with minimal day-to-day oversight. Experience working with high-profile celebrity, social creator, and gaming influencer talent including but not limited to: research and identification, outreach, pitching, negotiation, partnership management and talent-specific challenges (riders, existing brand partnerships and scheduling). Experience creating influencer-curated events: creating lists, managing invitations, guest flow and reporting Experience creating social media and public relations strategies that “surround sound” Celebrity-led campaigns Experience with non-endorsement deals and product seeding, as well as multifaceted influencer engagements a plus Proficiency in building relationships across a diverse range of people externally, across departments and industries Strong knowledge and applicable experience of FTC (endorsement disclosure) landscape around celebrity and social creator engagement Previous experience using creator / influencer analytics and campaign management tools Previous experience using target audience insights to reverse engineer influencer targets Strong track record of partnership with legal partners and a passion for diving into the details of a partnership deal Acknowledgement that influencer marketing is not a typical desk job and often requires travel and flexibility working unusual hours and weekends when needed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. MBA is a plus. Salary Range:

$95,000 - $125,000 USD / Year Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role Skybound offers a wide array of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending and dependent care accounts, as well as free counseling through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
