About The Position About the Position Position/Specialty: Mammography Tech - Outpatient Clinic Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day. Please make sure techs are aware of performance expectations. Fast paced outpatient facility that requires autonomy, effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility. Daily Caseload: 55 Shift: 5x8s, 8:30am to 5:00pm Weekend REQ: No Is on-call REQ? No Overtime - Technologist must be willing to shift work hours if overtime is involved. For example, if the tech works beyond her contracted shift, she may be asked to come in late the next day to eliminate overtime. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes, as needed the traveler will be asked to float between the East Cooper and West Ashley facilities. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1+ years First-timers accepted: Yes Cert/License Requirements: BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) SC state license Special Requirements: MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE SIEMENS REVELATIONS/HOLOGIC DIMENSION EQUIPMENT - HARD REQUIREMENT. Must perform Screening and diagnostic mammograms. Radiation Badge Req (Y/N): No Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: No, SC license must be in hand prior to start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Facility does not allow call outs. Orientation hours 8:00am to 4:30pm; Monday thru Friday. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
