Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a fast-paced outpatient clinic, requiring Siemens Revelations/Hologic Dimensions experience and proper licensure.
Responsibilities Position is based in an outpatient clinic specializing in mammography servicesExpected to perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms daily with a typical caseload of 55 studiesUses SIEMENS Revelations and Hologic Dimensions equipmentWork schedule is day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends or on-call requiredCharting is conducted in Epic EMRFloating between East Cooper and West Ashley outpatient locations may be requiredUnit orientation is provided onsite during the first weekStrong autonomy, effective teamwork, communication, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essentialScrub top must be any shade of pink or dark teal with black bottomsMust report all requested time off at time of application; additional requests after submission are not acceptedAll employees may be assigned emergency response duties during hurricane season (June–November)Acceptance of local candidates is case-by-case and at a reduced rateMust have been separated from MUSC system for at least 1 year if previously employed (including PRN)Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced outpatient setting is highly valued
