We are currently partnered with a leading growth equity firm based out of Washington, DC that manages just shy of $2.0 billion in committed capital. Specializing in investments in high-growth B2B software companies. The team partners with exceptional founders and operators to accelerate growth through capital and strategic support. The senior leadership on the team is all composed of former entrepreneurs and executives who bring deep operational expertise to every investment which lends itself to a fantastic mentorship opportunity.

Private Equity Associate Role Overview
They are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Private Equity Associate to join their investment team. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments, as well as supporting portfolio companies in their growth journey.

Private Equity Associate Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and industry research to identify attractive investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including customer calls, data analysis, and competitive assessments.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives, including growth planning, KPI tracking, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and operating partners throughout the deal lifecycle.

Private Equity Associate Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or growth equit.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and software businesses.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
