Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer Shift: 5x8 Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, variable weekdays) Job Summary: The MFM Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging on patients from the 1st through the 3rd trimester, specializing in high-risk pregnancies. This role involves both routine and advanced ultrasound procedures to assist physicians and healthcare providers in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring maternal and fetal conditions. Common Scans Performed: Nuchal translucency (NT) First trimester Biophysical profiles (BPP) Detailed (Level II) anatomy scans Multiple gestations (twins, triplets) Umbilical artery Doppler Middle cerebral artery Doppler Transvaginal ultrasound Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum 3 years of experience in OB ultrasound BLS certification (AHA) ARDMS certification in OB/GYN Preferred Skills & Experience: High-Risk OB experience* Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting experience* Familiarity with GE ultrasound equipment Proficient in: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging Amniotic fluid index assessments Fetal anatomical surveys Nuchal translucency screening Identifying placenta previa About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
