Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer with at least 3 years of OB ultrasound experience and current BLS certification. Responsibilities Work in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine department specializing in high-risk pregnanciesPerform diagnostic sonography scans including NT, 1st trimester, biophysical profile (BPP), detailed level II, twins, triplets, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal proceduresCare for obstetrical patients from the 1st to 3rd trimesterDay shifts, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (hours may vary from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:45 AM–4:45 PM)Epic charting experience preferredResponsible for performing routine and specialized sonography procedures to support the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease in high-risk obstetrical patientsModules are completed during orientation through e-learning, with variable module hours depending on specialtyOnly one holiday request for time off will be approved during the contractFormer staff must be gone at least one year to return as a travelerLocals are accepted at a local rateBackground history, including any DUIs, must be disclosed when considered for the position Requirements Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography programMinimum of 3 years of OB ultrasound experience requiredCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationValid CA state license required if applicableMust be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signingMust provide copies of all certifications at the time of considerationMust live at least 50 miles from the facilityEpic EMR experience preferred Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 OptionsGenerous Housing AllowanceNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs401(k) PlanTraveler Rewards and DiscountsTravel and Licensure Reimbursements
