About The Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum License: IN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted - COVID-19 and flu vaccines required - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Floating is required Description: Candidates must have a valid IN license in hand to submit. Local travelers are not accepted for specific units but are accepted for surgical services and allied positions. For positions with experience requirements, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years in an adult ICU setting. Skillset requirements include airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABG analysis, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP. Preferred skillset includes experience in trauma settings, teaching hospitals, and emergency rooms. Experience with documentation systems such as Cerner and familiarity with equipment like Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 is advantageous. Candidates must provide 2 supervisor references upon application. The role involves working in General Care and Adult Intensive Care settings. This position requires compliance with all health-related vaccinations in accordance with organizational policies. Candidates will be required to float to various units as needed.
