About The Position Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Department License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have Skills/Experience: 5+ years of experience in Emergency Department Description: Looking for a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an emergency setting. If a candidate has both ICU and Emergency Department experience, they will also be considered. The facility is a comprehensive community hospital providing a range of services. It is recognized for its specialized care, including Chest Pain and Stroke Center accreditations. The Emergency Department has 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms for patient care. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, with exceptions during high-volume days or specific patient needs. Electronic health records are primarily managed through MedHost and Meditech systems. The patient population includes all ages, requiring versatile nursing skills. The ideal candidate is professional, positive, compassionate, and a team player. Scrub colors are flexible and can be any color of the traveler's choice. The role involves rotation on weekends and may require floating as needed.
