BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced litigation attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Long Beach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of legal disputes, demonstrating expertise in case strategy, courtroom advocacy, and legal research. Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage a diverse caseload, handling all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution. Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations. Engage in pre-trial discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, depositions, and document requests. Analyze legal issues, develop strategic case plans, and advise clients on litigation risks and potential outcomes. Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and support staff to ensure efficient case handling and successful client representation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedural rules affecting litigation matters. Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of four (4) years of litigation experience in a law firm or equivalent legal setting. Strong background in civil litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. Experience handling motions, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment. Education & Certifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the state of California. Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research skills. Strong oral advocacy and negotiation abilities. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
