25B (Army), 002713 (Navy) Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, and four (4) years of experience in project management of systems or services. Alternatively, an Associate's Degree in the same fields and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Licenses and Certificates: Valid Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent from another state. Special Requirements: Availability to work beyond standard hours as necessary. Background Check: Applicants must pass a CJIS fingerprint-based background check within six months of hire and maintain CJIS eligibility. Convictions such as Felony, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, open arrests, or Family Violence Convictions will disqualify applicants. Under supervision, plan, coordinate, and manage projects impacting a division or department throughout their lifecycle. Plan, organize, and manage IT project development, including submitting proposals, budgets, scope, and schedules. Initiate projects, analyze end-user and stakeholder needs, and define project parameters. Participate in setting department goals, define success criteria, and communicate expectations effectively to sponsors, team members, and stakeholders. Facilitate project status meetings. Ensure adherence to project budgets and standards, develop risk mitigation plans, and document findings for future reference. Supervise assigned personnel, including scheduling, instructing, training, and enforcing policies. Conduct interviews, recommend hiring and disciplinary actions.
