Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Smalltalk Programmer with a strong foundation in object-oriented development and full SDLC exposure. The role requires hands-on programming, effective communication with stakeholders, and the ability to handle deliverables independently within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Smalltalk and OOP principles Collaborate with client teams and provide technical support independently Follow SDLC processes and ensure code quality and documentation Optionally leverage PL/SQL and UNIX for integration and backend scripting Provide timely updates and participate in status meetings Understand legacy codebases and assist in enhancement or migration

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of hands-on experience with Smalltalk and object-oriented programming Strong SDLC knowledge and debugging skills Ability to manage client communication independently Team player with clear communication and collaboration skills Nice to have: PL/SQL, UNIX, and insurance domain exposure Seniority level
