ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) PROJECT MANAGER.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is familiar with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Cloud ERP.

About the Financials and Procurement Solutions (FPS) Team:

The FPS Team is a part of the Business Resource Center (BRC) within King County's Department of Executive Services. The BRC is an independent agency chartered with enabling business value through the enablement of integrated systemic solutions and the support of those solutions. The BRC manages the County's ERP applications, including Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Applications, SAP Concur, Oracle Business Intelligence, PeopleSoft, and Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services.

We are currently running Oracle EBS 12.2.7 on-premises and work in Oracle Financials and Procurement Cloud Application. Our long-term strategy includes planning and preparation for migration into the Cloud.

This two-year Term Limited Temporary (TLT) position or Special Duty Assignment (SDA) is a rare opportunity to join the coveted Business Resource Centers Financials and Procurement Solutions (FPS) Team as a

Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager . We are seeking an experienced and referenceable ERP Project Manager with a strong background successfully managing and delivering small to large full cycle ERP projects. Proven experience utilizing various project management methods and approaches. Must have solid business acumen, ability to scale the level of communications from analyst to executive, be comfortable managing project resources, to include the Steering Committee. SCOPE OF JOB DUTIES

To be considered

minimally qualified , applicants must demonstrate a background that provides the knowledge, skill, and ability to:

Manage project documentation related to scope, schedule, budget and quality management of project deliverables aligned with accepted industry project management standards. Participate in and

lead Oracle EBS projects and internal process improvement

efforts with multi-disciplinary teams ensuring alignment with BRC and King County strategic plans, policies, and procedures. Develop, update, and

manage general project management documentation

related to scope, schedule, budget and quality management of project deliverables aligning to phase gates. Engage and build consensus

among a diverse group of stakeholders including business partners and customers to support team members in identifying and recommending appropriate Oracle EBS solutions considering competing business needs and priorities. Manage vendor procurement a ctivities such as development of requirements, development of procurement documents such as ITB's or RFP's, vendor selection activities, negotiations, contracting and general vendor management upon execution of a contract. Manage vendor contracts

and decision management system vendors on new releases, user groups, enhancement requests, and troubleshooting issues. Plan, monitor and report on

resource capacity

to ensure project deliverables are met. stablish project measures

of success, acceptance criteria, and methods to track, control and report status. Mentor and support the FPS team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

inProjectManagementbest practices in developing the FPS PMO Methodology and standards. Demonstrated ability to

present oral or written reports

to key stakeholder group including department directors, external partners and elected officials or their designees. Demonstrated proficiency working with

Jira, MS Project, MS Office, Smartsheet, MS Teams , and developing schedules to manage and track major IT projects, as well as experience developing other project control documents for IT project management. Excellent written and verbal communications skills , including presentation skills, and the ability to synthesize technical data for non-technical audiences. WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE

Ability to

functional and technical teams. Experience supporting, developing, analyzing,

and managing ERP or related applications . Proven ability to

effectively collaborate with internal and external partners. Strong team building and mentoring skills. A

Team Player. Highly motivated and a

self-starter . Familiarity

with Oracle ERP and Procurement Cloud products and features. Can flex

and

adapt

as required, while working in a multi-faceted and sometimes ambiguous environment. Have familiarity with or are certified in

IT Service Management Best Practices
