The Business Development Lead is a key growth and transformation role within TCS’ Market Unit, responsible for driving and executing strategies to acquire target clients across various industries. This proactive demand generation and selling role focuses on acquiring new clients within the mid-market segment. The candidate will leverage TCS’s full portfolio of services for targeted firms, working collaboratively with market development, solutions teams, and industry SMEs to create demand and capture qualified opportunities. Predominantly hunter role

- create new large deal opportunities in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) mid-market segment, including new logo acquisitions and expanding existing relationships. Generate demand for TCS solutions and services in the BFSI industry group. Establish cross-functional CXO relationships and generate market momentum for TCS in the pursuit portfolio. Engage with the TCS ecosystem to proactively shape large deals for the target segment. Achieve TCV growth targets, originate deals, acquire new logos through demand generation, consultative selling, and thought leadership throughout the buying journey. Qualifications

Min 12-15 years of overall selling experience, primarily in BFSI vertical Strong connections and network leverage Experience in leading IT services or consulting firms, collaborating across global teams Direct industry experience in BFSI companies is desirable
