Position Title:
Imaging Informatics Engineer Purpose & Scope: The Rad-IS Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and improving the Rad-IS Informatics infrastructure at a highly technical level. This position requires excellent knowledge of both hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Active Directory, Windows 10, and Rad-IS Informatics clinical applications. The role also involves managing technical projects as assigned. Depending on the level of responsibility, the engineer must provide first, second, and third level support for all technical issues related to Rad-IS Informatics workstations, acting as an escalation point for moderately complex to complex computing systems and applications problems, including collaboration with other support staff or outside vendors. The engineer will independently determine approaches and strategies for issue resolution. Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Experience: At least three years of user support experience is required. Minimum of two years of experience with SQL database/server/systems administration is required. Experience with DICOM and HL7 is preferred. Certification/Licensure: Industry certifications are required or must be enrolled within 12 months. Other Qualifications: Ability to execute assignments with minimal oversight. Ability to solve problems under time pressure with frequent interruptions.
