Wrap Connections is a program designed to support youth and families using a high fidelity model that is family-centered, culturally/linguistically responsive, and community-based. The Wrap team works with families to learn effective tools and strategies to help create sustainable stability and progress in the home, school, and community, utilizing a comprehensive strength-based approach. Our program offers a variety of services and support, including behavioral and mental health assessments and interventions, as well as medication and psychiatric support. Participants include the child, youth, and their family; a Care Coordinator, Behavior Counselor, and Parent/Youth Partner, school personnel, other service providers, and/or other family designates. Behavior Counselor – Wrap Connections What You Will Do The Behavior Counselor works within the Wraparound philosophy to support behavior strategies and provide direct support behavioral intervention and rehab services to participants and caregivers referred to the Wraparound program. The Behavior Counselor will work with participants and caregivers in their residence or community; document services; collaborate with other social services, educational, or mental health professionals; and actively participate in supervision. The Behavior Counselor is active in supporting and implementing the Wraparound philosophy and its individualized, strengths-based, culturally responsive, family-centered approach to behavioral, evidence-based intervention. Shifts Available Full Time - Hourly; Mon-Fri/Schedule TBD Amazing Benefits: 21 PTO Days per year 9 Nationally Observed Holidays 401k matching up to 6% Affordable monthly health care premiums: B.A. Degree
or
five (5) years’ experience in a mental health-related field. Demonstrated understanding of the developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults. Demonstrated ability to assess, triage, and organize work. Theoretical understanding or experience in behavioral approaches to treatment. Experience with or knowledge of designing, supervising, monitoring, changing, and discontinuing individualized behavioral interventions. Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities. Clean driving record: current CA Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire. Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred: Coaching, Training, and/or Applied Behavioral Analysis experience. Fluency in prevailing language(s) of the community. Experience with individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities.
