**Hiring Range:** $65,769.60 to $87,692.80
**Pay Range:** $65,769.60 to $98,654.40
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Executive and Tribal Services Specialist provides executive-level support for the daily operations of the SCF Board of Directors (BOD), Tribal Health Advisory Councils (THAC), and the Office of the President (OTP). This role collaborates closely with the ETS Advisor, Corporate Office Operations Manager, Vice President of Executive and Tribal Services, senior leadership, and executive staff. The Specialist acts as the primary contact for the BOD, THAC, OTP, and related committees, ensuring smooth administrative coordination.
This position directly supports SCF's President/CEO.
Qualifications:
SCF programs primarily serve Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and other Alaska Native and American Indian populations within SCF’s service area. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of these cultures and needs to support SCF’s vision of a Native Community achieving wellness in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects, and the mission of collaborative health and wellness services.
Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Two (2) years of executive administrative support experience or demonstrated proficiency as an Executive and Tribal Services Coordinator II or Executive Coordinator II.
Valid Alaska driver’s license meeting DMV requirements, with specific conditions regarding out-of-state licenses, commercial licenses, traffic violations, and DUI/DWI/OUI history.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old; drivers transporting customers must be 21 or older and have completed probationary licensing requirements. Prior to employment, a current driving record from the issuing state must be provided, no older than 60 days.
Native Preference:
SCF pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training, in accordance with P.L. 93-638, as amended. Certification from SCF Human Resources is required for applicants to receive preference.
Employee Health Requirements:
Employment requires compliance with SCF's Employee Health Procedures, including necessary health screenings and immunizations prior to starting. Health Care Personnel positions require documentation of specific immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19 vaccination.
