Opportunity Description We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a background in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries to join our growing team. This position requires an execution-focused approach to project delivery and an understanding of, technology, compliance, and operations. In-depth knowledge of financial sector systems, banking operations, and banking systems technology is . At NCG, were recognized for our expertise in helping organizations with program/project management, bank mergers & acquisitions, system integrations, platform transformations, data conversions, and legacy system replacements.
This role will be based out of NCGs Portland, ME, or Marquette, MI offices; qualified remote candidates throughout the United States will also be considered.
Role Responsibilities The BSA will analyze business needs and provide application solutions with a focus on delivering business value. Together with a range of business, technical, and technology stakeholders, you will help design and implement innovative solutions to meet business objectives. You are responsible for working with multiple stakeholder groups across the organization to identify, investigate, and analyze challenges faced by the enterprise. The BSA will synthesize the business requirements, which will in turn inform the solution design. Responsibilities include defining deliverables, tracking milestones, managing roles and resources, evaluating risks, and recommending contingency plans, often following a structured Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)/System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). NCG follows an agile methodology but accommodates client-defined methodologies as applicable.
Qualifications Candidates will have a minimum of 7 years BSA experience, working between strategic, tactical, and operational levels of planning and execution, as well as 5+ years of experience working in highly regulated industries; banking or financial service experience . Professional written and verbal communication with the ability to effectively translate messaging to technical, management, and executive levels is required. The ideal candidates experience will include the following:
