Are you a skilled and motivated Surgical Physician Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in the field of Orthopaedics? Join our dynamic and esteemed orthopaedic practice, serving patients in both New Jersey and New York. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Surgical Physician Assistant.
[Responsibilities]:
Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care in both surgical and non-surgical settings. Assist in surgical procedures, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative care. Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans under the supervision of the attending physician. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical procedures, and postoperative care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions. Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery and treatment techniques.
[Requirements]:
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in both New Jersey and New York. Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical orthopaedics (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered). Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgical procedures and postoperative care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and team members. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities. Dedication to providing compassionate patient care and commitment to patient satisfaction.
