Contracts Manager III

is a member of the Contracts team. The successful candidate is responsible for managing contracts, negotiating contract terms and conditions, and typically handles routine or standard form contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with established contract policies and procedures. Experience in Government contract administration is a plus. Job Responsibility: Manages multiple contract types, including but not limited to CPFF, FFP, Time & Materials (T&M) contracts. Reviews and/or prepares modifications, extensions, and contract closeout documents. Complete applicable representations and certifications forms as required. Review of Requests For Proposals (RFPs) and assist in the preparation of proposals/quotes for submission. Negotiate terms and conditions. Interfaces directly with Government contracting officials. Prepares backup documentation for proposal negotiations. Advises management of contractual rights, obligations, and risks. Maintain contractual records in accordance with department policies and procedures and company guidelines. Manages contracts independently and with minimal supervision. Tracks and analyzes contract compliance both internally and externally. Ensures company policies and procedures are followed. Worksite Location Options: Onsite: Torrance or Cypress, CA Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite and WFH the remainder of the week (based on needs of business) WFH/Remote: 100% WFH is not an option based on the role and responsibilities Required Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field is required. 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. Familiarity with the FAR and DFARS. Well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities and meeting contractual deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. This role does not require a clearance to walk in the door, but would be provided in the future based on coverage of current contracts Preferred Qualification: Knowledge of Salesforce Ability to work with all levels of management and provide direction to other departments as needed. Either possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Additional Information

Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $71,000 - $114,000 for a Non-Technical Individual Contributor III at Torrance, CA USA The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees. Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including: * the role and related responsibilities; * education, training, skills and certifications; * internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles; * geographic location; and * alignment with market data.
