IBM FileNet is an enterprise content management (ECM) platform. The role involves developing applications and workflows within the FileNet ecosystem, managing documents, business processes, and leveraging AI-powered insights for content management.
Key responsibilities of a FileNet developer include:
Application Development:
Creating and modifying applications that interact with FileNet's Content Engine and Process Engine, utilizing Java, J2EE, and FileNet APIs.
Workflow Development:
Designing and implementing automated business processes within FileNet using the Process Engine.
Content Management:
Managing content lifecycle by working with FileNet objects like documents, folders, and workflows to ensure proper content storage and retrieval.
System Integration:
Integrating FileNet with other systems and applications for seamless data exchange and workflow automation.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Identifying and resolving issues related to FileNet applications and workflows to ensure smooth operation and performance.
