Join our healthcare team and experience Southern hospitality in one of the top travel nurse destinations in the U.S. Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Natchez, MS 39120 (Mississippi healthcare jobs) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg RN) Assignment Duration: 8 weeks Start Date: August 18, 2025 End Date: October 13, 2025 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), rotating weekends Hours per Week: 36 Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1420 - $1530 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement) Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting Ability to provide all required nursing certifications upon submission Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to Medical/Surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
