Growth Opportunity Great starting pay Job Description As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills and Grinders to produce a wide variety of aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings. You will work with a variety of metals, such as titanium and 410-stainless steel, to mill, turn, and bore parts. This role requires working from oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets, and using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Mill and Grinders. Produce aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings. Work with titanium and 410-stainless steel. Mill, turn, and bore parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and process sheets. Use precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Essential Skills Proficiency in CNC Machining and Setup. Ability to perform conversational edits and tooling changes. Experience in offset adjustments. Minimum of 3 years CNC experience. Blueprint reading expertise. Precision measurement skills. CNC programming experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CMM and 5-axis CNC machining. Familiarity with DMG machinery. Initial training occurs on the 1st shift for approximately 1.5 months before transitioning to the designated shift. The facility is unionized under the United Steelworkers Union (USW), and hourly employees are required to pay union dues. Cell phones are not allowed on the production floor. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $61318.40/yr. PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year VACATION
