CNC Mill Machinist
As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will independently set up and operate 2, 3, 4, and/or 5 axis CNC machines, as well as conventional machines, to produce complex aerospace parts. You will demonstrate advanced cross-training flexibility and have experience with various automated CNC machines and their operational capabilities. Responsibilities
Set up and operate multiple CNC and conventional machines, including Mills. Perform pre-operational inspections and complex setups without assistance. Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces. Conduct inspection and adjustments of tools, chucking jaws, and rotating offsets. Operate CNC machines such as Okuma, Hitachi Seiki, and others with Mazatrol, Okuma, and Fanuc controls. Essential Skills
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience, with a preference for 3 years of conventional machining experience. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding. Experience working with metals like stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. Experience with 2, 3, 4, or 5 axis machines, with a preference for 2 or 5 axis. Additional Skills & Qualifications
