Travel Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist - Polysomnography

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist with 2+ years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience for a night shift contract.Job Details•Work in an acute care pediatric sleep study unit with 2 pediatric beds,•Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies, titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests,•Utilize computerized charting with Epic EMR and Natus software for sleep studies,•36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday,•No weekend or call requirements,•The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech on shift but will have adult sleep tech support in the building,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience required,•Current BLS (AHA) certification required,•Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT required or registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) considered,•ND state license required or must be obtained prior to start,•Experience with Epic EMR preferred,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Responsibilities include recording and providing accurate sleep/wake diagnostic data for physicians,•Dark gray scrubs required as dress code,•Unit provides training and orientation with the team for pediatric or NICU sleep study skills,•All previous Sanford Health employees must disclose prior employment for eligibility review,•Candidates living within 80 miles are considered local and are subject to a reduced rate,],•hash,:•9217273967989623009,
