Human Resource Manager Opportunity
Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is excited to present a direct hire opportunity for a Human Resource Manager. The Human Resource Manager with 5 plus years of experience will manage the HR function for two sites outside of St. Louis. The Human Resource Manager will also have one direct report to assist with employee relations, safety training, recruiting, onboarding, and payroll for the small plant operations. Responsibilities: Manage all HR functions for two operational sites, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policies. Oversee employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for workplace concerns and conflicts. Administer payroll processes, including timekeeping and attendance for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead recruitment efforts, onboarding new hires, and ensuring a seamless integration into the organization. Manage benefit programs, including enrollment, FMLA, and leave of absence processes. Ensure HR compliance by staying updated on labor laws and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation. Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a secure working environment. Supervise one direct report, delegating tasks related to HR operations and providing mentorship. Handle workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paycom, to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate records. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management role. Strong background in employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding. Proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience using Paycom preferred. Familiarity with payroll processes for mid-sized teams, including time and attendance systems. Knowledge of benefits administration, including FMLA and leave of absence procedures. Comprehensive understanding of HR compliance and labor laws. Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and interact with employees.
