Warehouse Associate - Elgin
2nd Shift $19/hr+ As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for preparing products by skid, crate, or box for shipment and processing routine and standard shipping paperwork. You will also maintain a clean and safe working environment through the proper and timely disposition and storage of materials, support assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials, and safely remove and dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures. Responsibilities
Prepare products by skid, crate, or box for shipment and process routine and standard shipping paperwork. Maintain a clean and safe working environment through proper and timely disposition and storage of materials. Support assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials. Safely remove and dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures. Work with SAP to update storage bin information and identify and locate materials. Complete routine inspections of material handling equipment. Operate turret truck forklifts, lifting orders and moving them from racks to shipping areas. Unload and load trucks via forklift each day and transfer materials into dumpsters. Visually inspect parts and move to receiving parts staging. Operate forklift trucks and/or cranes to move materials into and out of assembly work. Essential Skills
