Position Summary: This Recovery Specialist position is located in the CILA program working with adult clients in a group home setting. Recovery Specialist staff assist adult clients with daily living skills and providing hands on skills teaching for budgeting, meal planning, and meal preparation. However the days and times may vary based on the immediate needs of the site. A level of flexibility is required for this position and also an understanding that a set schedule is not always guaranteed. Job Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or higher education Advocate for individuals using professionalism and non-adversarial approach Willingness, ability and commitment to serve as a role model for recovery Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation Minimum (RSA) Essential Responsibilities: Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. Overtime may be required. Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences. Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills. Responsible for developing and presenting all resident education. Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift. May facilitate focal group discussion sessions. Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated. Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with regulations. If designated, monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log. Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies. Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned Schedule: 10 hour shifts Friday-Monday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Compensation & Rewards Based on education, experience, and credentials Starting pay - $18/hr Shift differentials: Additional pay based on regularly scheduled shift hours Second shift (majority of hours between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m): $.25/hr Third shift (majority of hours between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m): $.50/hr Work Location: Rosecrance CILA Benton
