Position Overview
The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging New Employee Orientation (NEO) programs for groups of 50 new hires each week, as well as facilitating ongoing training during the first months of employment. This role coordinates all onboarding logistics, collaborates with leadership to align training with operational goals, and ensures compliance training is completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
Facilitate NEO & Training Sessions:
Deliver interactive orientation and training sessions that engage diverse audiences.
Onboarding Logistics:
Coordinate schedules, guest speakers, training materials, and technology setup.
Program Improvement:
Gather participant feedback to refine NEO content and delivery.
Collaboration:
Partner with leadership teams to align onboarding with department objectives and timelines.
Compliance Training:
Deliver required compliance modules and track certification completion.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor onboarding metrics and evaluate training effectiveness.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field,
OR
3–5 years of manufacturing experience (new graduates considered).
Proven experience in training facilitation, instructional design, or employee development.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage large groups.
Proficiency in training tools and technologies (e.g., LMS platforms, presentation software).
Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of onboarding best practices and adult learning principles preferred.
