LHH is assisting a downtown Austin, TX, law firm in seeking an
Executive Legal Secretary . The Secretary provides comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in the Transactional and Litigation Sections. The role requires a cooperative, positive attitude and strict confidentiality. Benefits : Salary: $78,000 - $82,000 DOE Potential for 1 day remote work after 90 days Benefits start on day 1 Paid parking Responsibilities : Draft documents such as briefs, complaints, motions, subpoenas, and summonses using firm templates and attorney input. Coordinate multi-document filings, formatting for court requirements, and e-file in State and Federal courts. Manage case information and reminders in Court Alert. Prepare notebooks, exhibits, and documentation. Open new client/matter files, perform conflict checks with the New Business Intake team. Organize and maintain documents in the document management system. Coordinate document management with Litigation Support Managers. Handle check requests, travel arrangements, and reservations. Greet clients and visitors, maintain confidentiality, and prepare materials for meetings. Assist with billing, including time entry and memos, ensuring timely submission. Qualifications : 3-5 years of Transactional and Litigation experience, preferably in a mid-to-large firm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NetDocs, Carpe Diem, and Chrome River. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with ECF and Texas e-filing systems; familiarity with relevant rules and procedures.
