Overview
Award-winning San Diego Architecture + Planning firm is seeking a talented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in a collaborative, team environment in our San Diego studio. The full-time Project Manager will work directly with the Principal-In-Charge in the design development and coordination of multiple architectural projects, primarily multi-family housing. The Project Manager must be detail-oriented, with excellent communication and technical abilities and hands-on experience with complex projects in Revit.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead project teams and coordinate the work of consultants to ensure seamless project execution
Organize and facilitate client and team meetings, fostering clear communication and collaboration
Establish and manage project schedules, deliverables, and key milestones
Oversee the development and coordination of construction documents, including detailed project design and technical specifications
Assign and coordinate team tasks, goals, and deliverables to achieve project objectives
Lead quality assurance reviews to maintain high standards across all project phases
Collaborate on design development and assist with design presentations
Direct and coordinate construction administration efforts
Manage the production of Revit models in-house and with project consultants
Oversee the permitting and plan check process with various local jurisdictions
Applicants must have the following qualifications: Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited architecture program;
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in an architectural office;
Experience in the design, documentation and construction of complex buildings;
Demonstrated experience with multi-family housing and mixed-use projects in California is desirable
Demonstrated knowledge in scheduling and managing a DD/CD/Permitting effort on large multi-family projects
Familiar with Type VA and Type IA construction
Experience with building codes
Organize and coordinate a set of consultants
Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience in Revit;
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks against deadlines;
Experience with technical aspects of architecture and assembling construction documents;
Knowledge of state and local building and zoning codes including accessibility;
Ability to self-start and stay on task;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Sensitivity to design and aesthetics;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
